Smooth/Form Metal Decking
Metal Decking
Steel Form Deck is a smooth-surface steel decking used primarily as a permanent form for poured-in-place concrete slabs. Form Deck provides a stable base during construction and allows the concrete to achieve its full design strength. Unlike embossed composite deck, which includes mechanical indentations to create shear bond and increase composite slab strength, smooth Form Deck does not rely on adhesion and serves strictly as a non-composite form. Ideal for floors, roofs, and mezzanines, it offers fast installation, uniform support, and compatibility with a wide range of structural framing systems.
